“ I LOVEEE the dumplings here. It is truly a hidden gem on Purdue's campus. The spicy chili wontons and the chili oil bar is so amazing and the dumplings are DELICIOUS. ”
“ A friend told us about this place. They're one of the only places in West Lafayette that I know of that specializes in making their dumplings and noodles from scratch! My husband and I loved it. The lady at the front was so nice and helpful and had our food out super quickly. I got the pork and leek dumplings, which were very tasty. I love supporting places with authentic asian cuisine. We plan on coming back trying their noodles. Definitely recommend ”
“ Wife and I stopped by for lunch. I got the handmade beef and green onion dumplings and a can of sweet herbal drink. The dumplings themselves didn't contain any overpowering spices, giving you control of the flavor profile through the sauce you mix. The drink was good, similar to an Arizona tea but distinct from any of their products. The dumplings had a good ratio of meat and veg, and the sauce bar had enough variety to tune the sauce flavor to your liking. The people there were also polite and helpful. ”
“ Fantastic restaurant. In high school, I went to China for a foreign exchange trip. When I came back, I was really missing the food, but no Chinese restaurant tasted like the food in I had there. That all changed when I went to Bao Dumpling. The second I tried their food, it took me straight back to the noodles and dumplings I ate in Beijing and Xi an, maybe even better. Their noodles and dumplings are incredible, and there really is nothing more authentic out there (in my humble opinion). I’ve probably been more than a dozen times at this point, and I can’t wait to go again! Great staff, great atmosphere and great food. A true West Lafayette gem. ”
“ Amazing food!!! This is the best dumpling I’ve ever had even comparing to the ones in China. Very juicy and freshly made. Spicy beef noodle is tasty too. Environment is clean and their water tastes filtered (which is not very common in this area). Owner is very nice and helpful. ”
“ Absolutely amazing dumplings. We got the Chive & Pork Dumplings as well as the Capsella Plant & Pork. Both were fantastic and full of flavor. You could taste the love that went into them and everything was very fresh. We also tried three of the condiments, and all were very good. I would highly recommend the homemade chili oil, it paired extremely well with the dumplings. It is not as spicy as it looks, so don’t be afraid to try it. Will definitely be back to try some different kinds of dumplings! ”
“ The dumplings are . Overall all the food was delicious. Pay at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Food came out fast and hot. ”
“ Went here for the first time to get lunch and it was such a wonderful experience! We got the pork baozi, pork & green onion dumplings, scallion sauce noodles, and mandarin soda. The sauce options were amazing, the lady helping us was so kind, and the atmosphere was lovely. This might be my new favorite Chinese restaurant in Greater Lafayette ”
